Existing Members:
If you are an existing member then
1: Click the LOGIN button on the top right hand corner of the Cycling Ireland website.
2: This will take you to a new login screen. Under Returning Member please enter the email address and password you used to register previously. If you have forgotten your password please click on the Forgot Password link and you will receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password.
3. Once you have logged in please click on the My Licence tile to choose your licence type and submit your application. There are links which describe the various licence types and categories to help you when choosing your licence. At the bottom of the page you can choose the club you wish to join (if different from current club).
Select Your Membership Type (Most people will be leisure but if you plan to compete for the club then you will need a competition licence).
Make sure you select the Club. Provence is Munster and Club is "South Tipperary Cycling Club". If you are an existing member this should come up automatically but if not then please enter it. If you move past the first screen/step you cannot go back and add the club later.
You may have to enter some additional requirements or new personal details in your profile such as mobile numbers of emergency contact details if you have not previously entered this detail. As you click proceed through the four steps this will be very clear.
The final step is summary & check out. Make sure you pay for membership of both Cycling Ireland and the Club. For Leisure cyclists the total should be €75 (€40 to Cycling Ireland and €35 to the Club). Different fees apply for different competition licences and for family memberships. If you have any questions please check our website or ask a committee member.
New Members:
If you are a new member or are thinking of joining the club then please contact one of the committee or come along to our Sunday Spin (starting at Gleeson Tyres in Cahir at 9:30am for each Sunday in January). We will hold a registration evening to help you get registered BUT if you want to register yourself then the procedure is as follows:
1: Click the JOIN button on the top right hand corner of the Cycling Ireland website. This will take you to a new registration screen.
2: Under New Member click on Register. This will open a new window where you will be asked to enter your details including email address, password and an ICE (In Case of Emergency) contact. Once this information has been entered click on Register and a pop up message will appear saying you have now registered with Cycling Ireland and will receive an email with an activation link which you must use to activate your account.
3: When you receive the email, click on the activation link and use the password you entered in Step 2. You can now log in to your Cycling Ireland account.
4: Once logged in you can view and edit your own details and select your licence type through the My Licence tile. There are links which describe the various licence types and categories to help you when choosing your licence. At the bottom of the page you can choose the club.
As you are joining the club for the first time your application will have to be approved by a club official before you can make payment. Your application status will change to Awaiting Club Approval. Once this has been approved by your club you will be notified by email. It can take a few hours as it has to go to a club official for approval and we are not online all the time. But be patient and someone will approve your membership and you will then get an e-mail.
5: Once you get the e-mail log in and click on the Checkout Tile. Payment is made through PayPal with a credit or debit card. Please note you do not need to have a PayPal account but can enter your card details. Once payment is received you will be issued with your licence number and you are then registered and insured.
Registration Evening:
We will hold a registration evening at 8pm on Monday 18th January. However we would appreciate it if everyone who can register themselves do so. It is really very easy if you just log on and remember to check that you are selecting BOTH Cycling Ireland and South Tipp Cycling Club. Registering now, before the rego evening, means the insurance issue is resolved for the couple of club spins before then and it also means on the night we can focus on just those who have had issues with their registration or on new members.
